Eggs are reported to be second only to milk as the most common allergy to children. Proteins with higher allergenicity are more commonly found in egg white than egg yolk. BioFront’s MonoTrace ELISA kit demonstrates the ability to detect egg white proteins in food and surface rinses.

BioFront Technologies has developed the first comprehensive line of monoclonal antibody-based ELISA assay kits (MonoTrace ELISAs) for the detection of allergen protein contamination in a variety of food samples. MonoTrace ELISAs incorporate the use of a precisely defined set of handpicked monoclonal antibodies selected after a rigorous screening process for their ability to:

1、Target a major allergen resistant to food processing effects

2、Recognize a specific target, thereby eliminating cross-reactivity and reducing the possibility

Overall Assay Time: Now just 30 minutes post-extraction!

Incubation Times: 10-minute steps for extraction, sample incubation, conjugate incubation, substrate incubation.

CROSS-REACTIVITY 交叉反应

At concentrations as high as 100,000 ppm, no cross-reactivity was observed in a large panel of assayed samples, including: wheat, rice, corn, buckwheat, Quinoa, white beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, lima beans, green peas, chick peas, lentils, soy bean flour, soy milk, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, mustard seed, celery flour, chicken meat, turkey meat.

在浓度高达100,000 ppm时,对一份大型分析样品和基质中没有观察到交叉反应,包括:小麦,水稻,玉米,荞麦,藜麦,白豆,芸豆,斑豆,利马豆,荷兰豆,嘴豆,扁豆,大豆粉,豆奶,花生,树坚果,芝麻籽,葵花籽,罂粟籽,南瓜籽,芥菜籽,芹菜粉,鸡肉,火鸡肉。

RECOVERY 回收

Recovery of spiked whole egg powder samples at various concentrations was efficient (>90%) when the following food matrices were assayed:  flours (wheat, rice, corn), salad dressing, wine, ice cream

当分析以下食物基质时,不同浓度全蛋粉样品的加标回收率很高(>90%):面粉(小麦,水稻,玉米),沙拉酱,葡萄酒,冰激凌
